Next, you will be connected to the Welcome Page, your personalized community-networking page. From this page you can access your favorite MyCareerNetwork.com resources such as My Job Search, My Professional Profile, My Career Agent, message forums, and member search.

Step 2 - Start by visiting My Job Search to look for jobs that interest you. Take your time and apply for as many jobs for which you feel you are qualified. Next, link to My Professional Profile and review all the preferences we have stored on your behalf. We will use this information to email you about other job matches. For example, if a new job is posted next week that matches your profile; we will email you and let you decide to whether or not to send your resume to that new employer. What could be easier? You apply for jobs, we store your selections, and we keep looking for new job matches, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Lastly, where is all this activity tracked, you ask? Easy. My Career Agent keeps a real-time listing of all your jobs, whether you applied for or matched to them. Our career matching process works like this:

• You are in control of the process. After using My Job Search to apply for jobs of interest, link to My Professional Profile to review and edit your Career Preferences. We will use that information to actively match you to other exciting jobs in our database.
• When you are matched to an open position, you will be notified via email, and only after you have indicated your interest in interviewing with that company, will we forward your contact information and resume. This way, we protect your privacy so you can search for jobs anonymously.
• Lastly, My Career Agent is your control center. Link here to review all jobs that have peaked your interest. You can even see the contact information for each employer that has received your resume. We highly suggest that you use that information to follow up with employers immediately. The more you communicate, the more opportunity you have to be hired.
