This job reports to the Program Team Leader - Lead College

This is a Part-Time position, working 24/7/365 via World Wide Web.

Overview
KCTCS Online is a revolutionary new way of providing virtual learning. Courses are offered entirely online in a modularized format, and each course is segmented into smaller modules - allowing students to complete only specific segments of the course or the complete course, as they choose. Open entry allows students to start classes any day of the week – anywhere, anytime. Students sign a Learning Contract, and can complete the module(s) early but must complete the module(s) within the allowed timeframe. The program content will allow an individual with an LPN to take the necessary courses, etc to progress to an Associate's Degree in Nursing. This position will have continuous recruitment for new facilitators.

Job Skills/Requirements
Provides on-line instruction and facilitation for modular, competency-based, self-paced instruction modules. Actively engages in retention/intervention activities, identifies and assists at-risk students with individualized learning support, and provides support for program and institutional initiatives with no caps on enrollment. This position is solely online, and facilitators will communicate and facilitate entirely online using established processes/methods.

Additional Information/Benefits
Position requires a valid Ky RN nursing license; or an endorsement from the Ky Board of Nursing for out of state applicants not included in the Ky Compact; and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); a minimum of 2 years clinical experience; a Kentucky RN license; specialty RN knowledge related to Medical Surgical Nursing (e.g. Orthopedic/Neuro, Cardiovascular, Womens Health, etc.), Psychiatric or Behavioral Health, Maternal Child (e.g. Pediatrics, and/or Obstetrics); and computer skills.
